This is a weird topic, but I found it interesting - was given to me by a scooter friend recently.
A listing of U.S. Army occupations, with their MOS codes, during the Vietnam era.

On the flight home I sat next to a guy who was practicing his war service story. Claimed he was essentially a Combat Baker. (He did have the waistline to prove part of that story :)))
We had a saying, in those days-----
Fairy tales can start two ways, "Once upon a time...."
Or, "This is no sh_t!, ..."

Fairey tales start, "once upon...."
Sea stories start the other way...

Yes!
Also fairy tales start with "Once upon a time", but sea stories start with "This is no BS"
And each finish with "And they lived happily ever after" or "And it's been F'd up ever since"
Just had to add that,
Ride safe Stig, I'm putting the scoots to bed for winter here in RI, kudos to you for riding year round!
