What can the color of the spark tell us ?
-
Many good or sad tales.

That's a good chart, big blue. However, I'm interested in the color of the spark, when the plug is grounded outside of the head.

Sorry, I think the spark color for a good current should be white or blue/white. If it is yellowish the ignition may be weak.

My spark is white, which I've never seen before and which is why I asked. Scooter was running but never well. Now it won't fire. Looks like I need to test some components. Thanks for your input. More input welcomed.

Put your finger on the plug electrodes, crank it: if your face turns white or blue you are good to go.
