Hi all. I have a 2018 model. I read somewhere here before that some are getting about 45 mph. I can only get about 45 klm per hr. at about 7000 rpm. I this normal or do I need a new belt? Thanks.

Should say 2018, 450i. Thanks

My 2014 UXV500i has a little left at 38 but not much. These seem to be built for pull not speed.

My 2015 450i will hit 7500rpm then rev limiter kicks in, that is almost 48mph. With windshield up about 45mph. Even with spped down I would think you should still be hitting the rev limiter. Are you truly at wot? Check gas pedal travel.

when my 450i was new, I could hit 49mph, 4 years, 2000 miles , many of them towing heavy loads and skidding trees, top speed is now 46mph

I believe the original poster needs to look over his machine, belt could be worn, clutches could be sticking, or some reason he is not getting to max rpm.

My uxv 500 used to top out at 45mph now i'm around 49-50mph, yes gps verified. A few mods helped!

reminds me of an issue some people had with the 1st gen Suzuki SV650 motorcycle, sound deadening foam glued to the bottom of the fuel tank, directly above the air intake would pull away and restrict the air flow, but at lower power didn't pull the foam away
wonder if he's got something loose (piece of paper, rag, etc) in the front storage compartment that has worked its way to the air intake, and clogs it with more vacuum at the intake
