Title: Where is the LIKE150i made?

Per the VIN, what country is the new LIKE150I ABS assembled in?
The first generation LIKE200I is assembled in a Kymco plant in China.

It's hard to admit....still...but would feel just a little bit differently if my scoot was made in Taiwan. Or, maybe a lot differently. (old prejudices are hard to overcome)
My Chinese manufactured scoot does not let me down when I explore all parts of it - but I've been seeing such really good stuff coming out of Taiwan over the past few years. (not talking scooters either)
But, might not have purchased a scooter at all, if it had been priced much higher than was my LIKE200i.
Most likely would have purchased a Honda motorcycle, since no other scoot interested me.

I would also prefer a scooter made in Taiwan but my Super 8 was made in China and it held up pretty well over the 33,000+ miles I put on it.  After some early problems my Like 150i has been running flawlessly.  I just went over 6,000 miles on it a few days ago.

Believe SYM/Lance are still made in Taiwan.

Some of the SYMs are made in Taiwan but the Fiddle II and III are mainland produced also many of the Lance models. Products can be well built in China with the proper controls and inspections>
