Title: Cut wire on agility 125

Bought a agility 125cc, top speed getting 55mph and when I was cleaning bike noticed a wire cut with tape wrapped around it any one have any idea what it is

The other components on your scooter do not look new, so I think it will be difficult to tell whether the modification has anything to do with the low top speed on your scooter.

What is the mileage on your scooter ?

Would it be possible to forward another picture to have a better look at the wire ? I am not sure to which wire on your first picture you were referring to.There

Are you sure this is the scooter's original engine ? The reason I'm asking - my Agilty is ten years old, and the engine still looks brand new. There seem to be some scratches on your engine - which makes me wonder whether this is still the original engine, or whether some serious repairs have been done on this engine ?
