Present XTown 300i 2019 abs---I am very pleased, seems to work fine and easy to work on.9,000 miles.
#1 Honda---2 new Silverwings, each ridden to about 50,000 miles---first one drive take up ruff for life of bike, second at about 40,000 miles, abs light came on, would not go out---required trip to dealer. Reflex worked fine but at 22,500 miles lady on phone ran it and me over....bike totaled, I only required hand operation---Helix, had 4 new ones, 175,000 miles total, liked them but.....3 of the 4 had rear clutch bearing problems (warranty), all broke intake stubs (rubber) just carried spare, at least one air box cracked (warranty), All 4---muffler guts came loose at about30,000 miles!! all of the $400 mufflers were replaced under warranty. One broken OEM drive belt. Had Thai made CB300F bike----nice quality, nothing broke. Traded at 18,000 miles---did not like no centerstand.---fine performance/handling.
#2 Suzuki----two new Burgman 400's---first had porous engine castings----8,000 miles of oil leaks, dealer took it back, got TMAX Yamaha from the deal. Second at 20,000 miles----total failure of drive line, clutch/belt/pulley----Suzuki paid for the expensive repair (warranty)---I rode this scooter out to over 40,000 miles, liked it, hard to work on/heavy. Bought new TU 250 bike---rode 18,000 miles, no troubles, but do not like no centerstand or open chain.
#3 Daelim 125 scooter--bought new in Korea, just no problems, wide open didn't seem to hurt it---dealer bought it back when I left Korea.
Repeating Kymco working fine for me so far, it like all maxi scooters seem to come with crappy/kinda useless windshield and require spending money to get comfort!! Think if company big shots were required to ride across US/Up and down Europe....we would have better wind/weather protection

thanks for your views on the different scooters. I'm sure there are very few people around (if any?) who've put more miles on all the different scooters than you.
