Title: My Road steam lock

Hi there
I just face another problem with my 13000km Kymco My Road.  Ignition switch has many function, I guess the most multifunctionable switch ever, but to the point. On the begining it was only a problem to find the right place with handle bar to engage steam lock, pushing key and turning left it takes many try to lock it. But ok.
Unfortunately from yesterday there is no way to lock the steam, no matter I do with handle bar or ignition switch no steam lock. Pushing and turning ingnition key left can be heard like slightly hiting metal to metal. What is wrong there? Is there any screw, nut or else that can case that? Ignition switch is tight.

Also looking for information what is that for TILT SWITCH CPS and where is located?? My computer show short codes that is some malfunction.

No idea how to fix steering lock....but, after watching multiple youtubes I've seen that they have 0 theft prevention.
Sit on seat , foot on handlebar. ...kick -- and pops the lock easily.

Hope a 700 owner comes along soon for you.

You're right, that is no theft protection, but against jerks that can try to move my scooter for fun. And what is most important that pissed me off that is not workin!!!!!

Have to be pretty stupid to move that big (what-500lbs?) scooter!

The steering lock is mechanical where it mounts to the steering stem. I have not had any issues with mine but I do not use it all the time. Are you trying to use it on the side or centerstand?

650.2 lbs according to my scale.

The tilt sensor is mounted on the front fairing frame behind the headlamp. You have to remove the windshield and front headlamp fairing.
