Title: Gathered the parts for belt, roller & airfilter change
Post by: Stig / Major Tom on October 03, 2019, 08:00:47 PM
Dr Pullley sliders and slide pieces arrived today from BuggyPartsNW.com.

Was looking at the service manual instructions -
If I had to remove all the stuff they say is necessary to change the belt - I'd take a bus!

"Seat, Luggage box, Rear Carrier, Rear Fender, Footskirt, Airbox" !!

Should be much cooler in the garage over the next few days - will do the work then ----including changing the goofy airfilter which has 15,000+ miles on it and never gets dirty! Going to change it anyway - I have 2 spares.

PS : I shot a nice youtube of me unboxing the Dr P sliders - it's thrilling, & put to Madame Butterfly.  ;)

Thats funny. I bought spare air filters shortly after buying the scooter. I may change it just in case it starts getting brittle from age.

You know, glad you said that. .....
I kept thinking it was me --- that I'm not looking correctly at this filter. Probably filthy, but I'm not holding it right?
(and no way I'll admit to having a complete clutch & bell assembly still wrapped in Kymco paper - purchased at a big discount from that old member who used to work in a scooter shop in Oregon, or Idaho......
.one of those "O" states out there....
Will be just one more new LIKE200I part to take with me when I'm raptured - 'cause my clutch refuses to wear.!
