Raining today, so ….
(did this to the Piaggio the other day...LIKE's turn.)
Removed the heat shields, washed, painted and set them aside to dry, while I applied ACF50 to the muffler and brackets and all of the hardware.
A #3 Phillips screwdriver best fits many of the large screws on a LIKE.
Pay attention to the sequence of all the little washers, collars, gaskets and rubber bits as you remove the plastic shields!

The inside of the end piece has a metal skin to deal with the heat!

The two top holes have drain slots to channel water away from the screw heads!

The more I fiddle with this Taiwanese designed, Chinese built, scooter - the more impressed I am with it's engineering and build quality.
