Title: Removing chain from cam sprocket - Kymco Like 150i

Is anyone familiar with removing the chain from the cam sprocket? Service manual shows to remove the sprocket bolt but that just turns the engine over. Tensioner has been removed but there is not enough slack to shimmy it off the sprocket.
