Title: Amusing Vespa post

Fellow on Vespa forum was riding along when his rear axle snapped, scooter bounced over the shed wheel, the wheel passed him and scoot dropped onto the brake backing plate - grinding it off nicely and bringing him to a nice safe stop.
Many pix of the snapped axle and many recommendations followed....until a new poster said, " I swear, .....if someone mentions JB Weld as a fix....!"

yep, saw that one.  Impressive that not only was he not hurt, stayed up but stopped the tire going by with his foot when rolled back if I remember the posting correctly.
