Title: saddle fix?

Has anyone customized the GV 250 seat to make it comfortable after removing that lumbar support? There is a piece of metal under the lumbar support that is no fun on long rides. That plus the plastic seat pan is humped so that presents a problem when trying to make a more flat surface to move around on to keep the buns from going numb.

I did read scootit's solution but i gotta admit I don't understand it. I want to know how to make it flat, no rise any where.
