Title: Loose throttle cable People 250
Post by: Packrat1 on August 03, 2019, 12:46:04 AM: Iâ€™m getting slack in my throttle cable is it best to tighten at the twist grip or down at the carb? Because itâ€™s loose, itâ€™s affecting the low idle due to the slack. Once I turn the throttle and take out the slack it runs great. Hoping I can adjust rather than having to buy a new cable.

Post by: Iahawk on February 06, 2020, 01:45:09 PM: It's always been my understanding that minor throttle cable adjustments are made at the throttle and bigger adjustments are made at the carb. Might also need the idle adjustment screw adjusted.
