Title: Kymco Like 50i

Is the Like 50i engine the same as a Compagno 50i? Right now someone told me I only had to disconnect (cut) one wire to de-restrict my Like 50i.
I'm asking because I just read an old thread concerning the unscrewing of a screw to get WOT (Wide Open Throttle) as a result.

Isn't your scooter still under warranty?
Don't know that anyone here has modified the new fuel injected Like 50.
I would not go cutting anything under your seat and/or trying to alter the fuel delivery to your injector by turning screws on your throttle body!
Maybe a modification in the CVT will get you a small handfull more MPH. Washer, boss, roller weights, etc? but wouldn't mess with the EFI.

Don't cut any wires because "someone told you"!!  You're likely to end up with a scooter that won't start, and nobody knows how to diagnose/repair it!  This is REALLY important!
