Does anyone know what cooling fan crosses with the one on a Kymco? From what I’ve seen it’s pretty much a Arctic power plant, will the fans work as well.

I understand that Kymco makes some models for Arctic Cat. AC parts are more expensive.

I can’t seem to find a fan just like many other “Kymco†parts. Like the fuel pump for example, found one online for $120 but pick the exact same pump from a Yamaha dealer for $30 just had to swap the plug ends. Thinking of just picking one up at the auto parts and making it work but can’t even find specs. I love this machine and it’s been great but finding parts can be a pain in the ass. Lol!

Try danscycle.com in Hesston, KS.

Any Kymco dealer can order parts for you and ship them to you. I have found factory parts to be reasonable compared to other mfgrs. Artic Cat/Textron adds big bucks onto Kymco prices just like they do when they rebadge Kymco machines for there own. With a factory part # and a credit card, Kymco parts are availiable thru any dealer and UPS ships everyday!

Did you look in the parts finder on the KYMCO website? Not sure what is available for the 500, but for the 450 I can look at schematics of the entire machine from inside out and find whatever part # you need.

According to the parts lookup, perhaps the reason you can't find the fan is because they are referring to it as the "shroud assembly." See photo attached. See if you can't register for the online parts lookup and find what you're after.

Thanks for all the help. Guess the main problem is that the dealership here is not that helpful. I’ve made several calls but failed to obtain responses. They just try to sell me a new bike when I show up in person. I don’t need a new Yamaha, this one has done me plenty justice. Lol! I have a lot of friends with all different brands and sizes of sxs. This thing continues to amaze, yet they be damned if they buy one. I found the parts I needed. Would y’all know who makes a lift kit for one? Not looking extreme just 2†or so for extra clearance at the ranch when hunting.
