My mechanic in Rome said that you can beat the crap out of the (Kymcos and Hondas)and they still keep running. The same couldn't be said for the Piaggios…

Heck no!
If you can get it to roll downhill and have at least one working tail light, or glove box light, ....or a box of matches - just raise the hand with the most fingers and swear you've got full insurance. ...and you're good to go racing here in Ohio!
