Is the secret just getting the beads together with the tape?

Tape or zip-ties. You bet, I'm gonna try it! Anything to take the grunt out!

Might be difficult with 13 inch rear scooter rim and OEM size tire.   Maybe worth a try.

Zip ties were easy to get in but there was NO WAY that scoot tire comin' off that way! Back to basics....
