Title: Kymco carburetor for 49cc Like 50
Post by: Strawroader on July 14, 2019, 11:29:27 AM
I have a 2011 Like 50. It isn’t running well and I want to buy a new carburetor.
Would like something with a little mor Venturi area, (higher performance).
Any recommendations.
Also if I go with a standard carb.  Will any of the Kymco 49cc carbs work?
I can’t seem to find a Like 50 specific carb.
Thanks in a$vance for the information.

How do you know a new, different and larger carb is going to make it run better?

What are the symptoms?  Was it running well for you before?  What changed?

Here is a link to a carb that's available, pricey though...https://www.scooterdynasty.com/carburetorfor50cc2-strokekymcosuper8likepeople.aspx (https://www.scooterdynasty.com/carburetorfor50cc2-strokekymcosuper8likepeople.aspx)

Saw a Kymco carb listed at $145 at one of the dealers on the "buy your parts here" sticky.
