yeah sorry slinger as well as being a bit of a newbie on 4 strokes i am also a newbie to how forums work :-[ that was a real help and infact a decider for me to go ahead and do the dreaded cut and its a coming bud ::) i have owned quite a few 4ts in my time but never had to work on the engine (that really should be a wake up call to 2t owners out there) never owned a 4t scoot until now.owned around 124 yeah 124 bikes mainly 2 stroke mx and road as at 1 point i used to buy and sell them part time trader if you like, done mx racing trials and road.2ts i could strip down tune and rebuild blind folded,4ts ermmm not my bag lol.I sold my 2004 gilera/piaggio ice 50 (57mph crotch rocket 0 to 37 in 1.2 seconds) to buy my a50 as times are pretty hard here right now.4t is the way to go for me and i will be a monkeys uncle if i dont get my a50 to 45mph at least.I would also like to add that if it was not for your good self and all the helpfull ppl on here i would crash and burn on the a50 project. Will keep you all posted on progress and results.

I don't know about the uk but i got a $10 tax from the u.s. once for a $400 order and havn't gotten any since  ::) And shipping was about $18 Don't know how they do it and still cheaper than in the states.
Ya I'm more of a 2t guy my self but at the moment got a s200 and a people 150 so it's time to learn again  ;D I'm pretty new to scoots. Been rideing offroad since I was around 5 years old. Once I got a 2t I never looked back ;) But cant do it any more so I fell in love with the scoots(They got 2 wheels  ;D) and of coarse gotta make em faster.

did the ppl 50 die on you slinger or did you buy it D.O.A cause like i said i never had a 4t die on me 4ts like as been said in several posts on here just need a nice quality oil regular and they generaly good to go 99.9% of the time.2ts need more attention than my 1 year old son ::) it was costing me a small fortune in synthetic 2t oil on the gilera and it had a petrol drinking problem, but saying that you dont get economy and speed just dont happen especially when you got a heavy right hand like myself. The a50 i will have to be a bit more gentle with and a good warm up before i use her.I just wish the weather would pick up around here then i can do the cdi mod cause im gonna go down the progressive route to the cut ie keep cutting bit by bit till i see the difference (slowly but surely). The parts have been ordered so should be here in the next couple of days but like i said before i cant just jump into it and do it but i will get there.I would also like to say to art i think import tax sucks and blows its just another way of government to make money out the good ppl of this world hate them with a passion >:(.anyway ppl send some sun over to miserable england then i can get this underway i got an a50 itch i wanna scratch lol tc my friends omfgdotcodotuk :)

Nah, sorry mate, we are starting to get the here in Aus. again, might keep it for the naxt 9 months or so. ;)
My last attempt at riding home from work in the rain just sucked, water into the air cleaner, funnily enough, she refused to bring me home under those conditions.
