Saw this in my coffee village this morning.
I loved this thing. Mine was green. 289 engine. 7 Massachusetts winters when I bought it....pretty much everything worked great, but rear wheel wells rusted into the trunk....holes covered by several A&P bags.
Commuted every day through the winter with the top down from Springfield, Mass, to Amherst on the highway. Light snow goes right over the top at speed....heater blows a treat with top down!
Scooters bring me almost as big a smile as that convertible did every day.
Cruising in Vermont one day when a highway patrolman pulled me over. He just wanted to talk about the engine!
