Hi everyone. My kimco agility 4t has developed a fault. At idle and stationary. The clutch ic making a grinding noise and keeps snatching. So the bike tries to jump forward. But on riding away noise disappears and all fine. Also not as bad when cold. Thank you for your help.

You may have broken or stretched/weak clutch shoe springs.

Thanks Karl. I bought a new clutch component. As the old clutch stuck on last night so every time I stopped the bike stalled. Carnt see any problems ith old unit maybe bad baring or sticking clutch pads. Running great now. Karl. Clutch was £37.00 uk. Well worth it. Thanks again for the help

Could very well have been the bearing. I had a 5 hp Briggs that would make terrible clutch noises from time to time. Greasing the bearing/bushing always took care of it.

Thanks eamartin. Did use small amount of lithium grease around the inner bearing and drive shaft. All good. I'm going 50 miles per day. Commute. To work. Total. And scooter fantastic. And not to slow.

Good to hear. In my case I had to periodically re-lube, though not often. You might consider a heavier lubricant than the lithium. The lithium with which I'm familiar is pretty thin.
