Title: How often do you check your oil ?

I ride pretty much every day - and look at the dipstick every day......after the engine cools down.

only ride scooter once or twice a month so I check before each ride...check motorcycle's sight glass maybe weekly or every other week.

When scooter used just for local errands.....at least once a week.   Long trips, everyday at end of day as I check bike over for next day's ride.  My XTown 300i dipstick measure might be down a little in 2,000 miles----long trip I do not change oil every 1,000 miles, but do after 2,000 miles for sure---easy=one bolt, carry 1 qt. baking pan, pour used oil in oil bottle---usually get rid of at WalMart.   I carry one qt WalMart 10-40 under seat.
