revving bike to over 7000 rpm and the max for my scooter is 10,000 rpm never has gone past 8000 rpm

Starts off a little fast since clutch bell is spinning slowly; should not move. Does not seem to go full range for speed-up. Now have to inspect front pulley. Never saw top of belt in rear pulley...

Don't know what paper thingy... this last video actually looks pretty normal but I don't know what rpm's were. The CVT should be about max shift by 6000 or 6500 rpm. Clutch should not start turning until 2500 to 3000 rpm. Now, it looks like the belt is fully out at the start, fully max diameter on rear (clutch) pulley. What weight and type of roller/slider do you have in front pulley?

OK last video it did not move cause I only reved it up to 5000rpm and stopped. Next video I kept going past the 5000 to a bit over 7000 rpm. This is all I can tell you. The rollers put in were not the Kymco rollers but I believe if not mistaken were sliders that would fit my bike.

Maybe they need to check my meter if it is reading working proper?

This guys seems to work smoother and better than mine does. I have to hold my throttle at a steady climb and than it starts to move at about 5000 and up rpms

Clutch with OEM rollers (15.5 gr) engagement should begin about 2500 rpm which would be abour 15 mph (22 kph). 5000 is too high...

So would you say it has to be either the rollers/sliders or the belt or both? Any other possible solutions. My goodness I am being a pain lol.

On my bike the belt on the rear (clutch) pulley rests slightly above the top of the pulley; yours is slightly below it, which will cost you a little in top speed, I believe. In other words, your belt is a little narrower then mine. Probably nothing to worry about, your variator is doing the job. You might see if your belt is 25 mm wide, which is what specs call for.

Yes I am taking the bike in the shop early in the morning and I am going to bring this to their attention along with what size weight my rollers are to.

Maybe it would help more if I made another video while also recording the RPM on the dash? This way you can see the belt turning and parts moving while also showing the rpms.

Front pulley remove, inspect report/repair. Even if the belt were too narrow, like a bunch of wear or too skinny a belt, you should start to see the front pulley start changing at 2500-3000 rpm.

I use a software called Video Studio Pro and with a little practice these things are all there for you to do! Plug and Play lol I had my camera down at the CTV and another camera I had in my left hand while my right was on throttle and than took the raw footage to the program and matched them up.

Yes they did. I like them very much. They treat me very fair and do good job always.

bike is still in the garage. I talked to them and he said he was trying some heavier rollers to see if this works to reduce the rpm's. Bike should be done tomorrow for sure. I sure hope so and fixed!! I miss my ride! It feels like my lover left me lol

This Kymco video shows the bike cvt moving as it idles. Mine does this to but Karl didn't you say it should be still?

Ah OK got ya. I have to bring in my Kymco rollers to see if this helps. Not fixed yet. From what they did check on it everything is working normal but they agree the rpm is a bit to high.

Maybe cause of vibration and my plantform is not level that the bike moves it a bit.

What is wrong pulley ratio's? What is the pulley?

The pulley is the wheel that the belt rides on. The front pulley consists of the drive face (outer) and the variator (inner). The rear pulley consists of the drive faces and clutch assembly etc.
The latest video shows the belt changing ratios fine, I can't see any issue with the variator movement.

OK got it. What do you think maybe the reason for my rpms to max out doing 100km/h sitting maxed at 8000rpm

OK good but mouse saw the wrong video when he replied to that. Later when he saw other video he said like you it looks OK. I think I have confused you all with my videos LOL. I am going to do another one rivving it just like Mouse did in his video. I tend to riv it at a slow steady paste where as he did it quickly. I will try also to get good lighting on the bike. I also just watched other video's of Mouse and to me from what I can see his rpm is up like mine is. Correct me Mouse if I am wrong!

Just measured my belt with a string and I get 25mm wide and around is 104

The video you did with the simultaneous pictures of the tach and CVT tells me the front pulley is stuck or slow to move.
Belt width is good but the length should be 1003 mm not 1040 mm.
