Got the parts on and finally got a longish ride in.
When cold the scoot acts very sluggish...
Seems like the acceleration curve has smoothed out.
Slightly higher top speed on the flats, maybe 1-2 mph.
Scoot no longer has a prob hitting 50 downhill.
Can't run it too hard, still need to rejet.
I've said there is no magic part that gives you huge, 10 mph gains so we have to be happy with 1 or 2.
Sigh. Rejet, torque spring next.
new clutch or exhaust soon.
-
Way to go! That's great! You'll be zooming in no time.
-
I'd hold off on the clutch get the exhaust and jetting dialed first, than maybe the spring. You will be suprised probably the biggest bang for the buck with the open airbox, than work on the cvt stuff ;)

Open box is already done. UNI filter is on.
Biggest concern is getting the jets dialed.
-
...yup...do plug chops!!!!!
..it's a quick..sure-fire way to tell what jet you need....
-
I know!
Scoot is running much better...
Guess the parts needed to break in...
Hitting over 50 on downhills
5-10 mph better going uphill.
New jets on the way soon.
