Title: What is "Q" value?

I've asked this question in a model specific category (no response yet) but the answer may be helpful for a broader audience....

According to the service manual for the Yager:


   

Quote

Measure the resistance between each Yellow wire terminals.

    Standard: 0.4— 0.6 Q (20°C/68°F)

    Check for continuity between each Yellow wire terminal of the alternator side connector and ground.

    There should be no continuity.

Can someone tell me if "Q" is equivalent to ohms?

I would interpret it to mean ohms.

Agree with eamartin the "Q" is in the position where the symbol "omega" should be. Omega is the symbol for ohms, the unit of resistance.
