Well I pulled the trigger on a brand new Kawasaki Versys 650 LT today and it looks like I'll be parting ways with the Like. The scoot has been very dependable and a workhorse. It helped me through a severe financial burden (which was the reason I bought it) and got me back and forth to work for a year without fail every day. Logged 7500 miles in that time. I'll pick up the new bike saturday and thanks for everyone's input on questions in the past.

Pretty good testimony for the Like bike! Now I gotta look up what a Kawa Versys 650 LT is!

You're not the first I've seen go from a scooter to the Versys 650 - that must be a good bike.
Have fun with it - glad to have had you in the club and very glad things have improved for you!
Ride safe and take care - drop us a post when you can - with pix of your new 650.

That 650 looks like an adventure find! The hardside bags won me over! Like Stig said: send pictures!

I have a Versys 650 set up for touring. It's a great bike but can't match a small scooter for around town so I also have a Like 150i.
So far this year I have ridden my small scooters way more than my Versys but I'm saving the tires on the Versys for a long trip later this year.

My brother took his motorcycle training course and got his license. He has kinda taking over the scoot and has been riding it running errands and what not. He is planning on getting a motorcycle later but the Like should give him some practice in the meantime. I love the Versys 650 and have put 1800 miles on it in in 7 weeks. This bike is fast, had to pass on the freeway to get around a slow car and went from 50 to 95 mph before I knew it.

With less than 6" of rear suspension travel why do they jack the rear end up so high, with that awkward looking gap back there? Can't be a reassuring spot for girlfriend to sit.
These are really popular bikes, but they look like an insect to me....plus, they don't come in Honda red😊
