Title: Headlight

I have a 2013 kymco agility 50cc 4 stroke and I bought a new head light rig and put everything together and turned it on and the lights don’t turn on. So I looked at the connector on the bike and there is a wire missing and I’m wondering if that is the problem and what I should do about it

My 2011 Agility needed a bulb replacement.  If I recall there were only 3 wires in the plastic 4-wire connector.  4th position was for a (brown?) wire not included in the US harness.  I believe the lights come on only when the engine is running.
