Title: Always mind the policeman!

Riding through town in the dark this morning - came upon a police car sideways in the street. Lights flashing....
I stopped and asked, gesturing, if I could go around as I  could see fire trucks down a side street, but not on my intended route.
He got out and walked up to me and hollered, "no!"

Reason being, there was a very fat fire hose laying in the dark just on the other side of his squad car!

In the glare of all the flashing lights, I  never would have seen it.

Yes! That 2.5 inch hose would have put you over! Dint burn the coffee or donut shops, did it?

Lol.  I had a woman the other day approach me and asked me if I wanted a donut.   I smiled and said no thank you.    Yes I was on duty.   Lol.

Heard on the radio the other day, "A person sitting in church does not make him a Christian - any more than a man sitting in a donut shop makes him a Policeman."
