But you have to throw in transport costs/taxes for non-current, no longer on US market machines---who knows their condition/history.

Most of us pay sales tax. Dealers still selling NOS Forzas. Condition is like new - unlesss you suspect seller is lying for the first time on ebay.
Rent a trailer and bring them home. Or take buddy and have an outing!
Drive now, and inspect them - then write your check.
Low mileage like new scoots are very, very common.  We all know why.
