Title: Interstate Vibrations
Post by: MrTea on July 06, 2008, 03:54:58 PM
I was getting ready to buy a GrandVista 250 for commuting.  My commute is rather long at 125 miles round trip.  About 1/3 is on back roads, max speed 55.  The other 2/3 is on interstate, max speed is 65.  I saw in another post, someone commented about hand vibration at interstate speeds and suggested something much larger.  I wonder if anyone else could comment on this.  I don't feel comfortable driving anything larger than the 250 but, on the other hand :D, if there is significant vibration, I don't want that either.

In case you're wondering,  it's not possible to drive non-interstate roads all the way.  Or even much more that what I am doing now.

I used my GV often at 60 mph (GPS) and no vibration, very smooth and stable.  I have been up to 70 mph and I never experience anything that was disturbing.  Great bike

I agree, my speedometer reads 90 at close to top speed, I think it really only goes around 80 mph. Very stable and does not get much push from 18 wheelers. No vibration. A two hour ride is a ver :)y comfortible ride.
