Had my newXtown 300i for a couple of months-----registered/paid for/Got title from TN, but still no registration/! Proper Puig windshield installed/$40 Bestem box and plate bolted directly to rear spoiler (works good), As there are no real handy clipping points point for bungee cords on lower sides, got out some loops I got from Aerostich I bought ten years ago, so using rear fender points and the loops on the passenger handrail can fit/carry my 2 Ortleib rubber bags I use when underway. Givi scooter "hump" bag doesn''t really work well in the Kymco(too big, and makes getting on bike a pain) So tomorrow, get small tackle bag at WalMart($10) and secure it with Velcro on bottom side plus it will kinda wedge in and still allow easy on/off of me.
Purpose of this: Shop Manual=still not available---day I picked up bike, ordered spare drive belt and shop manual....drive belt came in a day or two thru dealer, he also ordered shop manual, Kymco like the Japanese use outside source for selling/printing manuals, still didn't get it. I realize few XTown 300's have been sold and demand small, but I feel importer should see than they are available and current.
This year, 2019 plan to ride scooter to 48 states, starting this coming weekend, do the easy ones near here (Chattanooga) that can be done in day trip) Wife going to some goofy church thing....and they do not invite me!
Then do 600 mile check next week-----no problems seen so far.

Reason you have not received the shop/service manual is because the Kymco USA does not sell printed manuals.
You can go to Cyclepedia and register and pay a fee to access manuals. It will not allow you to download the entire manual thought.

I know Kymco does not sell manuals, and they like the Japanese go to outside source. My dealer ordered from source in Mich. I believe....they have not made up 2019 Xtown manual yet, but hope will come.

For my Kymco model I bought lifetime access to the service manual on my Dell, also bought the printed service book.
Not perfect -- but very, very helpful to have.
Glad cyclepedia made it available !

Bought a Cyclepedia shop manual for my Like200i and was so impressed I got another for my Honda Ruckus. They're thorough, well documented, and THICK. Very affordable too, just over $30 to the door with one year online access included. Highly recommended.
