Title: Gone with the wind.

Anybody notice the 2019 Kymco catalog no longer has a Like200i?  There's two flavors of 150's, and even a new Like 50 (111mpg!), but the 200i seems to be no more, as many of us suspected would happen.  Glad I got my 2018 while you still could.

The first USA review I saw of the LIKE200i was on justgottascoot.com in the summer of 2010. MSRP of $3399.00!!

Anyone know - was 2010 the first year of production?

Production complaints seemed few:
There seemed to be an issue with a small batch of the TPS on the 2012 models - we had 3 or 4 reports here on this forum. All but one replaced under warranty I think.
And one complaint of out of round wheels.....
A couple had panel tabs fail - possibly due to rough road surface abuse?
Low budget Kenda tires were found suspect by some.
Headlight glare bothered taller riders.
As did the ridge in the middle of the seat-pan.

My impression is that this was a very solid little scooter - and it enjoys a global following by enthusiasts who were often limited to the 125cc engine version.

Mine is coming up on its 7th birthday. Never failed to get me home. Ran in every kind of weather and in temps from 100°F to 3°F for me.

Great for running into the village for coffee!

And, dead easy to service!

Wonder how much you could get a new leftover 2018 for these days?  Maybe even better than the $1699 I paid last Spring.  Heck of a deal if so...

To answer my own question, down this way they have them listed on Cycle Trader at $1599+ tax, tags, & prep (~$2300 out the door) for new 2018 leftovers.  Now THAT'S a deal!

Still got half a Like 125 in the garden, I really need to chop that up...
