Title: 2014 Kymco Super 8 150 - 4,000 miles possibly 0 service
Post by: Fitzy on December 23, 2018, 06:19:57 PM
So I just picked up a 2014 150cc Kymco Super 8, which has just over 4k miles on the odometer. I'm unsure whether or not it has been properly maintained. This is my first bike and am admittedly a total newbie on this stuff, but I learn fast and I'm not entirely eager to take it to a dealer (partly because the closest dealer is a half hour away).

It runs fine, sometimes it takes a few tries to start up, but I've had no problems with idling or any performance issues as far as I can discern.

Should I take it to a dealer? What would be the essential things to check or replace? I have a fair idea of how to change the oil, otherwise I'm pretty lost.

Any advice is greatly appreciated  :)

Sweet, I'll check these out. This seems fairly comprehensive :)

The only noticeable issue I have is a slight clicking noise when I drive upwards of 30mph
