Title: LIKE200i goes to Tim Hortons
Post by: Stig / Major Tom on November 29, 2018, 09:55:28 PM
Sneaking a ride in before the snow comes again midmorning.
No way am I going to Dino's in the boonies with flurries in the area.
So, "hello" to all my employees at Tim Hortons, 2.6 miles away.*
Then to the reservoir, 1.5 miles away!
Home in light flurries on wet roads.

I was on the upper deck of the ranger station, here - somebody was cooking bacon behind me in the office!

*Yeah, they don't forget a guy who comes in before sun-up wearing a XXXL yellow helmet!

Very mild here in the UK but wet and windy. The bike is under the cover. The Mazda can do the running round for a day or two

Seventy two and sunny here today down in Lower Alabama.  Gonna rain like crazy tomorrow though.  Got me in a bit of riding while I could, did some wrenching too.  It's a great day to be alive.  Oh, and they wouldn't know what a Tim Horton's is down here if you dropped one on their head.

You have to be in Canada or Lower Canada (Northern U.S.) to experience Tim Hortons. I remember seeing one on every corner in the Toronto suburbs when I was working there. Good breakfast sandwiches.

Before retiring I lived in Maine and had a girlfriend in Michigan.  So yeah, I know from Tim Hortons and Dunkin' Donuts. Liked them both but gotta give the nod to Tim.  Down here in Bama they put bacon bits on donuts and call them sprinkles. Dead serious, ya can't make that stuff up.
