Title: Power outlet
Post by: Robertchanger on November 04, 2018, 04:35:42 AM
I'm having trouble using the power outlet underneath the seat to use my electronic tire inflator.  It's the slime brand.  Does it just take too much voltage?

dash plugs and under-seat plugs have little power wires to lite to put higher fuse in them ,  I run heavy wireing for extra power direct from the battery with a fuse in line that is easy to check if it blows if you install # 12, or  14  gauge wire it should be good for anything you plug in there,

That outlet has some 1/4 amp fuse on it, too. Do the de dee on that for your compressor and you can use the outlet for charging, too!

Yeah, you gotta do the dedee deal: A separate fused (15 amp) #14 or #12 wire from the battery to the socket, then your Slime compressor will love it. You probably blew the 1/4 amp fuse like I did when I first plugged in my Slime.
