Welcome to the forum. I don't have your model but if new and four times not fixed demand a new one. It could be a number of simple things but the 2 year warrenty is ticking. If they didn't get it right by now, I would also look for another shop for service if available.
Kymco makes a quality product but not all there dealers are up to the same standerds.

..yeah, what art said..
..you're wearing the starter, re-starting every time it dies...
..and possibly the clutch, as you try to keep it revved at a stop...
..if it's still "new"..get another...push for it!
..pitch a fit!..as the locals would say..
;D
..oh, and yeah, Welcome to th' Forum!!..
peace

Any scooter mechanic worth their salt will have already tried this, but please ride around with your fuel cap open for a few minutes, and tell me if that fixes it.

Yep. Try the simple stuff first.
Had a Genuine Buddy 125 that we loaned out for a ride, brand new. It vapor-locked within a few miles of the shop. Unscrewed the gas cap, the ride continued issue-free.

..i agree!!..
..i would hope LJ's dealer mechanics would have done that...
..i've noticed that the cpl of scoot shops in my area have stepped up their games a bit lately...
..none of them will stock any kind of performance parts yet, but...at least they're keeping replacement parts, and i know of three mechanics i would really trust...should it ever come to that...

Have them check the vacuum hoses...
