Title: 450i Windshield
Post by: jwad1982 on September 15, 2018, 01:14:22 AM
So sorry if this has already been asked. I am interested in purchasing a windshield for my 2018 450i.  Any recommendations?  Which is better: full windshield, half windshield, 3/4 windshield, foldable, vented? Do you need a wiper blade kit too for the rain and snow?  I have the factory hard top roof, so I don't think a top folding windshield would work.  Really appreciate your thoughts.

I made my own windshield, two yrs back there were very limited choices. I did make a two pc fold down and have no regrets. Never needed a wiper yet!  Wipers are not a good idea on plastic windows. Many options nowadays if you have deep pockets. Check out Pacific Eagle products lineup as their stuff is well made.

I have a tilting/split full windshield. Wish I would have gone with the one that folds in half. Condensation is a pain.

Pacific Eagle's is here, looks pretty cool.
It's a two piece windshield with dual vents.

I have a half windshield, but would like one that would fold down flat on the hood for trailering and also fold in the middle or at least tilt out for ventilation.

Consider a fold in the middle or slightly below middle then tow your utv backwards on your trailer to protect the windshield. That is how I did it until I sprung for an enclosed trailer, best money I ever spent!!!

Thanks, any windshield in particular?  Include links if you can.
