Title: Ring break-in procedure.

Recently purchased a 50cc 2 stroke PGO Ligero (called a Metro in the States)  and it needed new rings which have just been fitted.  What procedure should I follow to run them in and for how long?

Another thing I harp on is end gap of piston rings. We're the end gaps set, or checked before engine reassembly? Engine will lock up if too small a gap exists.

Actually called the Genuine Buddy here in the states, but tomato/tomatoe.  I would just run it in like initial break in.  Think it’s first 300 miles no more then 1/2 throttle then 300-600 no more then 3/4 throttle.
