Title: The Burgman I sold
Post by: Stig / Major Tom on August 28, 2018, 01:27:18 AM
Some of you might remember the NOS Burgman 400 which I sold to a buyer 2700+ miles away last summer.
(that was a bit of an adventure - but if you trust each other it can go through without a hitch)

We just passed our 1yr anniversary of that sale - and here are a couple of pics of how he is putting it to good use out there in the PNW.
(last I heard he was spending "more than $1200" following a cascade of issues due to a failed bearing in the CVT. Also is on his 2nd set of tires )

He says he loves the scoot.
We are each happy with our transaction.

Nice maxi-scooter. Have you tried the Piaggio on beach terrain? Seems like you have some on the lake to the north. Nonetheless the burgman looked like a comfortable scooter.

Yeah the Burgman is like a motorized couch.....and is about as much fun in city traffic. IMHO Great, great cruiser,  though.
Not taking my Liberty in any sand. Sand is for walking, and throwing at your brother.
