One year ago I helped unbox this scooter at a local Vespa dealer so that I could inspect it, and try it for size.
Scooter is the 2018 Liberty 150i ABS 3V i-Get engine
I'm a touch over 6'3" - so, sitting the scoot was important. No, not possible to test ride anything in my area - ever! Only used bikes.
After looking it over - I left a deposit to purchase.
My homework:
I read the review on justgottascoot.com and watched the 20 min video review by VespaMotorsport's Robot.

I then purchased the official Piaggio service manual download. ($8) I wanted to know if it would be easy or difficult to home service.
Next it was just a matter of inspecting it closely for fit & finish - and sitting the seat!

My thoughts after 1 yr and 2,700 miles:
I've little to add to the stuff mentioned in the above reviews, so just a few comments.
The long, comfy seat needs no alterations
The scooter has operated flawlessly in temps ranging from 20 to 95 degrees Fahrenheit.
EFI gives instant starts & smooth idle.
CVT is smooth.
Big wheels are great over city bumps, and VERY stable at speed.
Headlight is very good. I ride every day in the dark.
Oil and oil filter changes are easy. Valves were easy to check - only a little harder than my LIKE200i.
TOP Speed? No idea....no reason to do it. Rides like a train at 55mph GPS.
I dislike:
the gas cap is a pain to use (it's like the cap & tank are different sizes)
While important spares are readily avail and not expensive - the American dealers mark up things like racks and cases by 100%.
(so shopping in Italy, now)
Wish list:
two rear shocks
rear disc brake
Stuff added:
chrome Piaggio mirrors (replaced the black stock mirrors)
side stand
short Piaggio screen
NGK Iridium spark plug
repainted the black muff. heat shield to gunmetal
Regrets:
I wish I could buy the white one, too!
Glad to answer any questions.

SOLD the scooter on the left (to a buyer 2,700 miles away) to buy the one on the right.

My Medley is going in for it's 1,000 km service on Wednesday. Really enjoying this scooter.

Great report, Stig! And, as usual, great pictures.

Stig,
Thanks for the review. I am happy to see that Piaggio has upped their game with better quality components. As long as the parts are easy to get, the bike should last you a long time

Stig,
Deja vu. It swear I've read this someplace before. ;)

I remember the morning that I noticed 4000 miles on the LIKE's odometer....
"Hey, I just rode this plastic scooter from Boston to San Diego! " without ever leaving this county.
I've no previous history with Piaggio...so we're still on our honeymoon. Especially after she showed me her valves ---- after only one glass of wine!
