Title: Weird ignition sound. HELP ME!!
Post by: Adept on August 05, 2018, 04:52:18 PM
Hi

Please look this video, and give me some tips what is that sound (at 0.05 sec)
https://photos.app.goo.gl/TmM2VccfKD9FiRmG9

The engine started without any problem. There is no faulty code.
Maybe the starter engine will die?

Thanks any advice...

Agree with the above, it sounds a mechanism in the starter motor. You can replace the starter motor, not a hard job.

Do you have a service manual for either model? That is the one thing the manual does well with sequence and pictures. Probably cyclepedia.Com is the best investment. There maybe a freebie from one of the guys on here. I am not smart enough to send you one!

Hi,

I have a manual, and it lists E003 as the flywheel puller tool, but it does not say what size or type it is?
Unless I missed it !@#$%

Thanks

I'm not sure how helpful this answer will be, but you could try contacting the service/parts people from the Kymco Distributor and ask them what the precise specs of the tool are.

In the US, the email is: ky3134@mail.kymco.com
