My ZX Will not start. The sparkplug is moist, and has got spark.
I can only measure halfe the recomennded preassure in cylinder (4kg cm2)
What would be the mest step recomended? Can the reed’s be faulty?
-
When was the last time the machine ran correctly?
-
I dont know, i got it for free...
Will not start with Ethergas either.
I have followed the service trouble manual, and got stuck on the compression.
How can i test if the spark is good enough?
-
Comes sion test fails. Now find out why:
2x: rings stuck or broken, cylinder scored, hole in piston, restricted intake, restricted exhaust, reed valves staying open or closed, rotary valve broken or out of time
4x: valves staying open, valves burned, cam not turning, hole in piston, scored cylinder, restricted intake, restricted exhaust, rings stuck or broken

That's clearly ridiculously low compression. I'd remove the head and cylinder to have a look at the cylinder, piston and rings.

Thanx, i ordered new gaskets and rings just inncase Will brand it down soon. Will let you know asap

The piston had a little hole, the rings where broken. But the cylinder was ok, so i changed Pistons and rings, and all the gaskets. Started right away.
Thanx!
