Title: Battery wont charge, lights dont work

hello, i have some problems... my scooter wont charge battery and ligts dont work. when i take out battery and charge it, for short time stop light and "orange" side lights work. any idea? thanks :)

After you remove your battery and charge it, how many volts does it show?

i dont know. but the battery is new - one month old and problems started a week ago..

You need to find out if the battery is not able to charge completely OR if the charging system is not charging properly.  Without some basic testing we are just guessing.

update: we changed the whole engine and battery and still wont charge and loghts still dont work. cables all look fine

Ah...cables may look fine but may have electrical problems. Do you have a multimeter? You changed a whole engine and battery and you still have the same problem. Guess where the problem isn't! Or at least both engines and batteries have the same problem! Thas' why work smart, not hard! Now, got a meter?
