I believe that's a parachute back there. I read that these were designed by Bertone - not BMW.

It is a Peugeot lion.

Peugeot's changed hands in the last couple of years, sold off from the main business, so it'll be interesting to see the route they now take.

I used to see a BMW C3 around quite a bit! Haven't seen it for a while now though.
