Title: Top Speed - (Super 8 150)

Creating this topic to compare top speeds indicated in ours Super 8 150. Please tell us your scooter year, mileage, your weight and top speeds (flat, downhill and uphill):

- 2018 Super 8 150x
- 650 miles only
- 155lbs
- Top speed flat: 56mph (confirmed on radar)
- Top speed downhill: 65mph (confirmed on radar)
- Top speed uphill: depends how steep it is: between 43mph ~ 50mph

I found out that my speedometer is pretty accurate. Most of the time it shows the same exact speed as radars and sometimes it is only 1~2mph off.

Post by: Billtrout on July 28, 2018, 01:24:05 PM: I've got a 2017 150x and about sixty seems it. I'm a little chubby at 225lb so that could be why. Otherwise very pleased with it so far.

I don't have GPS but those radar speed signs show my speedo to be about 10% high. I have seen as high as 73 on the speedo going downhill but most days I top out at around 65-68 which should be an actual speed around 60.

Post by: tngo on July 30, 2018, 06:19:36 PM: I got a 2017, bought the 150x brand new. I weight about 145, but I can only manage to get it to 51mph top on flat surface. Think that below expectation.

My speed max is 110km/h and 15km/h off so max is 95.
Cruise speed is 85-90 km/h GPS speed

Post by: OrangeSuper8 on July 30, 2019, 04:33:21 AM: I just got my 2019, I've only put 30 miles on it, but I can't get it past 50 MPH. I'm 255 pounds though.

I don't know how some of you get to 60+ MPH, that's crazy. I have a hard time believing an extra 50 pounds does that much. Guy who posted before me is light and said he can only get to 51 MPH as well. But he's the only person I've seen say this scoot does less than 55 MPH.

My 2015 super 8 doesn't have the part to cover the handlebar and speedometer? Is it original or you installed yourself. Thanks!
