Title: G Dink 300i availability in North America?
Post by: Seanny on April 27, 2018, 04:45:41 PM
I saw this model on the Kymco official TW website:

https://www.kymco.com.tw/motor/g-dink-300i (https://www.kymco.com.tw/motor/g-dink-300i)

Anyone know if this model is available in North America?

I think it's like a bigger version of the people 300i. Similar to the Downtown 300i but with a flat platform for the legs.
I love the People 300i's flat platform because I can put my tool box there it's pretty much perfect. The only thing I complain is a smaller cargo space at the back compared to the Downtown.

The G Dink is pretty much the combination of both which seems perfect for me. I wonder if it will be available in NA or is there another model name for it that I'm not aware of that's available in NA?

Thanks!

It is not available in either the US or Canada. The only two maxis sold here are the Xtown 300i and the Xciting 400i ABS. The last Kymco scooter with a configuration like that in North America was the Yager/Frost 200i. The People 300 GTi had a flat floor but with a more upright seating position.

The last kymco with that setup was the grand vista 250 in the US, drank dink elsewhere.

Pretty much the same layout as the newer 300. Flat floor with plenty of power. Owned one and loved it. I’d be all over a 300.
