A couple at this price on cycletrader.
That is a better scooter than 50cc scoots selling for the same $$ ,and you don't have to make yourself nuts trying to get it running again after modding it to break 30mph!

What was the original price Stig? I paid around $3,400 AUD for my 200i a few months ago down here.

5 years ago I paid $3200 all in and down the road.
Selling for about $2500 now many places....which would be @$3100 out the door. Doubt they're selling many at that list price.

I wonder if they plan to get rid of that model in the US if the new 150i is coming. I spoke to a Kymco rep a few days ago and for a while they were thinking of not supplying the 200i here anymore but decided against it as there is a bit of a price difference between the 150i and 200i and some people will not want to spend $5,000 on the 150i so the 200i will still be in demand for the budget buyer. He reckons the 150i is a lot more modern and higher in quality.

NOT opting for the 150i seems false economy as it offers so much more and is only $100 more than the old 200i. Surely it must come down to people preferring the old styling of the 1st generation LIKE.....it offers so much less - from headlight to taillight it lags behind the new scooter.

I am here screaming why don't they upgrade the 200i with the, well, upgrades and 199 cc!?
-
Are the likes 199cc? Mine's 163cc!
-
No they are 163cc. I believe Karl meant that they should be upgraded to 199cc especially since they are called a 200i.
-
Oooh yeah that'd be nice
-
Yeah I don't get this 200 thing either. The new SYM Fiddle III is only 169cc as well why not at least call it a 170? I'm guessing that the Like engine at 163cc came about as a bored version of the 125 and it was as far as it could be pushed. The fact that the new Like is a 150 shows that with multiple valves that the smaller displacement can yield greater power at a still low price.

Yep, just ordered two at that price, and got another hundred off each for being a veteran. We pick them up in two weeks. Can't wait...

Which price? and which scooter?
The LIKE200i or the LIKE150i ABS?
(have a neighbor who bought a pair of LIKE200i's a couple of years ago - after watching me pass his house to work every day on mine, told his wife, "That looks like fun!" Bought a black and a red one. Sadly she pretty much quite riding - and I only rarely see him on his.)

Welcome !
I'd be very interested in the servicing particulars of your new scooters.
Are they asking you to bring them in at 600 miles - and what will be the price for this 600 mile service?
Thanks, Stig

Got a pair of Like 200i's. In white. Got them for $2392 each, out the door, tax and all. What a deal!

We're retired bikers, been wrenching on our rides for years. Dealer said I could do all my own service and so long as I kept records and receipts the warranty is valid. Very happy with the deal we got and the customer service.

Wow great deal on a great scooter. The maintenance is a snap and it just keeps running like a train.

THAT is the most amazing thing I've ever heard a dealer say...
. ....and absolutely accurate. !
