Title: Spammers

On another forum that I am on as soon as someone starts spamming you hit the Report Moderator button and it comes up with a list of reasons.  If you click on SPAM then that automatically locks that person and blocks his post until a moderator deletes them.  Any chance of having that function on this site as well?  It might stop them from repeating spam post if they know their efforts are going to be wasted.

Seriously, he has done 120 post so far and not being stopped.  That's just ridiculous.

Any comments on this Stig?  Interested if you feel more could be done to stop these spammers.

Yes, usually the procedure is for me to remove the offensive post - then forward the name of the person to the administrator for him to consider further administrative action.
I am checking to see if we can better address this latest type of nuisance.
