I thought this was pretty darn cool.
My daughter's very conservative Christian school is having a "Gala Auction" this week.
One of the items up for auction is to have a Sheriff cruiser pick up two students and deliver them to school. Lights and all.

Man, I'd pay 5 bucks to watch the neighborhood response to that..... :)

My cousin’s husband is our county’s elected  sheriff. But I ain’t riding in the back of a sheriff vehicle even if HE was the driver. But I’m riding beside him up FRONT. LOL.

A friend of ours used to be a policeman and I was always asking if he'd take me from my house handcuffed and with my head under a blanket into his police car just to get the neighbours gossiping.

Sadly, he declined.
