Title: Front Rack for 450i
Post by: a71rambler on December 20, 2017, 07:40:08 PM
Anyone used one of these on a 450i?

I am thinking of using it with Kurt's front brush guard.

Thoughts?!?

Probably not a bad idea, but why?  With all the storage space we have on the 450i and all the space in the rear box, what would you carry up front?  I would not want to have to unbolt it each time I wanted under the hood.

Here is the mfg website - WEBSITE (http://greatdayinc.com/products/utv-accessories-2/front-rack-utv/)

And here is a install video that shows how it pivots out of the way to get under the 'hood' - VIDEO (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Uvc7Dy8mnk&feature=youtu.be)

I will use my 450 mainly as a shooting cart (Sporting Clays) so my rear area will have two Kolpin shotgun cases and i shlep ammo for at least 4 people so I thought about adding the front rack for flexibility when i want to take a cooler, or similar.

Did not know it swings up out of the way....pretty sweet!  Your gonna need to do some creative engineering to mount it to the 450i...Hope to see pics if you decide to do it..
